What’s Your Credit Card Lifestyle?

on May 20, 2018by Shelly Evansin Credit Cards

Each of us have different styles particularly when it come to handling finances or handling credit cards. What’s your own credit card lifestyle?

For instance, are you particular about submitting your credit card payments on time? Do you make it a habit to pay your bills on or before your due date? Or are you in the habit of delaying when submitting your payments?

When left unchecked, frequent late payments can result to bad debt.

If you notice that your bills are getting out of control, it’s time to take action. If you find it difficult to keep up with your credit card debt or if you own multiple credit cards, transferring your balances to a 0% APR credit card is a good option.

However, make sure that you can complete your payments within the zero-interest period.

Also, see to it that the card maintains a reasonable interest rate even after the introductory period. Don’t forget to check the rest of the costs such as the balance transfer fee, annual fee, late fees, etc.

It’s also great to consider the type of rewards that the credit card offers.

Find a card that will best match your spending style. Are you a frequent traveler? Do you spend much on trips or travel-related purchases? If yes, then a travel rewards credit card is worth considering.

There are also credit cards that allow you to send your rewards as donations to favorite charitable organizations. If you want to share a part of your blessings to others, then you may prefer to choose this type of card.

Choosing a credit card that matches your lifestyle can also help you manage your finances more effectively.

Just remember, in order to get the most from reward credit cards, make it a habit to pay off your monthly balances completely to avoid the interest charges.
